Hey, there! Matches – Funk on Fire is a 10-piece party / funk band formed in the fall of 2018.
We are comprised of musicians whose musical influences are anywhere from jazz, pop, classical, blues, funk (um, of course), and pretty much everything in between. We present an “in your face”, no-holds-barred performance each and every chance we get.
We’re based in the historic rivertown of Columbia, Pennsylvania, but we’ll travel anywhere to entertain your gathering.
Here’s the standard tag – “We are available for functions, clubs, and parties of all kinds” so give us a shout!

Winter Concert Series
Columbia Animal Shelter 265 South 10th Street Columbia, Pennsylvania Red Warehouse 129 South 9th Street Columbia, Pennsylvania We’ll be filling the warehouse next to the Columbia Animal Shelter with more funk than it can stand! We’re kicking off the Winter Concert Series, which benefits the Columbia Animal Shelter, with some hot funk to entice you to dance and groove the night away! Food and drink available for purchase. Bring a chair. Suggested donation – $5 |
